オートエスノグラフィーが破壊する知の制度
抄録
本研究は、オートエスノグラフィー（AE）が質的研究として制度化される現状に対し、方法論的・理論的・倫理的・制度的観点からの包括的な批判を試みる。AEは「語りの正義」や「周縁の声の可視化」を掲げるが、その過程で科学的知識に求められる基準―方法の透明性、理論的抽象、反証可能性、他者との対話、制度内評価―を構造的に回避している。本研究は、AEがいかにして批判不能性と評価不能性を制度的に内在化し、質的研究の基盤を掘り崩しているかを、哲学・社会科学・科学論の理論を援用しながら論証する。そのうえで、AEの語りを表現として尊重しつつも、学術的知識としての「研究」とは区別されるべきであると結論づける。

Rethinking the Institutional Status of Autoethnography
Abstract
This paper critically reexamines the institutionalization of autoethnography （AE） as a legitimate form of qualitative research. While AE advocates for “narrative justice” and the visibility of marginalized voices, it often lacks key epistemic standards required of scholarly inquiry―namely, methodological transparency, theoretical abstraction, falsifiability, dialogic engagement, and institutional evaluability. Drawing on philosophical, sociological, and epistemological theories, the paper demonstrates how AE structurally internalizes immunity to critique and undermines the foundations of qualitative research. Ultimately, it argues that although AE may have expressive and ethical value, it does not meet the criteria of academic research and must be situated outside the institutional domain of scholarship to preserve both the dignity of narrative and the integrity of knowledge.
