日本におけるキャリア教育と課題
—キャリア教育の先行研究からの検討—
要旨
日本におけるキャリア教育に関して、そのためのキャリア教育の展開の経緯、高等教育機関におけるキャリア教育、特別支援教育におけるキャリア教育、職業教育とキャリア教育の先行研究レビューを行い、キャリア教育研究の今後の課題を検討することを目的とした。
結果、職業観の形成にとどまらない、キャリア教育が各分野で展開されていることが明らかとなった。
一方で、キャリア発達の積み重ねが不十分なため、人生において困難さといった課題を抱える人々の存在も明らかになり、今後のキャリア教育研究の方向性のひとつとして、これらの人々への支援のためのキャリア教育の必要性が示唆された。
Career Education and Issues in Japan
Abstract
The purpose of this paper was, in regard to career education in Japan, to consider the history of the development of career education, career education in higher education institutions, and career education in special support education; to review prior research on vocational education and career education; and to consider future issues of career education research.
The results clearly show that, due to insufficient accumulation of career development, some people experience difficulties in life, and the need for career education to support such people was suggested as one direction of career education research in the future.
