職業教育現場における学生の学習スキル向上支援の取組み
― 「学習スキル講座」を効果的に用いて―

要旨
文部科学省の2012 （平成24）年度の調査で、「学業不振」が大学の退学理由の主な要因の一つとなっていることが指摘されている。多様な学生が入学する大学や専門学校では初年次教育の実践が求められており、わが国において広く定着されるようになった。また福祉の職業教育現場においても職業人教育やモチベーションの維持・向上のための初年次教育が行われているが、学習スキル習得の支援を必要とする学生のニーズが必ずしも満たされないまま学校生活が進んでいくことが示唆される。本稿では学習スキル未修得学生を対象に学習スキル習得の支援を行うことで学習意欲の向上に繋がることを検証する。スキルの習得は、単に講習を受けることで身に付くものではなく、身に付くまでの支援が肝要であることを踏まえ学習スキル講座を開催した結果を報告する。
How to give an effective support for students who are in need of obtaining basic study skills at vocational schools by providing study skill trainings

Abstract
A 2012 study conducted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has pointed out that “slow academic performance” is one of the main reasons for university dropouts. The needs for First Year Experience at universities and vocational schools have become well recognized, and it has become widely established in Japan. Although schools of vocational education for welfare also provide First Year Experience for students’ vocational education and motivation, their early school days may be going by without satisfying students’ need for obtaining study skills. In this paper, it is verified that supports for study skill acquisition for students who have not acquired basic study skills leads to improvement of learning motivation. We will report the results of the study skill course which we held, based on the understanding of the fact that the study skills are not something that can be acquired simply by taking a course, but that supports are essential.
